Kids still watch cheesy nonsense that the Nickelodeon channel provides. Not all anime is destructive and violent. They have softer stuff that deals with adolescence.

OK first of all think of using spell check Please, Thank You.
Now, for an answer 2 your ? You have a lot of good points, but
you have to remember the world & society kids are living in now
is an incredible difference from where things were 15 even 10
years ago. Yes kids are smarter today they really know to much
most of that can be blamed on T.V. They're not supervised well
enough now, especially with parents working more. Also a lot
more single parent homes. So yes kids T.V. should have very
little violence if any at all. Let's face it they probably get enough
violence from the evening news and they really shouldn't see
that either. Children don't really need to be concerned with the
goings on in the world especially in this day and age. They just
need to concentrate on their education and play just enjoy their
childhood after all it doesn't last forever . While they are young
children only need the reality of a loving home, a good education
to be able to feel safe and play just be kids the way God intended
it to be. There will be plenty of time for children to learn of the
reality of this cruel world! It's sooo very important that we keep
their best interest at heart. After T.V. all isn't reality. If they want
to know or have questions the first place they should go is to their
parents, NOT TELEVISION!! I hope this answered your question
and then some. I care about the future of our planet, and children
are our future!
P.S. I hope you didn't mind about the spell thing I use it sometimes too. You know, for my good and of course others too.

Well if you want to let you kids watch this kind of TV and take all this violence in then when they get older they start using this violence in real life and eventually have their *** wind up in a detention, prison, or even dead, go right ahead, but remember, dont be stupid enough to ask the question, "what happend to my kid to get like this?" I can tell you, Its your own damn fault!! I mean come on people, we even have children as young as a 2nd or a 3rd grader taking a damn gun to school, teenagers doing the same thing as well and shooting up the school and thier classmates. (remember Columbine High School, April, 1999? ) Where are the decent parents anymore , to teach our children right from wrong and to remember that Hollywood doesnt care about family values anymore, the more sex and violence they can put on for our children to watch, the better they like it, and some parents are ignorant enough to let their children watch. Hmm, and we wonder why today;s young people are so violent in comparison to 10 and even 20 years ago.

I think some violence could be good, the problemo is that children more often watch without than with parents, so discussion re:violence doesn't happen much. If parents do watch and explain, right and wrong etc. it would be good.

Tom and jerry whas a good cartoon, but the **** their putting on air these days suck, they don`t make sense, I think putting cartoons with actual morals are the answer. And we do not need cartoons that take kids away from reality.

I make my kid watch the three stooges to make up for the lack of violence on TV. I also bought her a number of toy guns to piss of the "politically correct" people in the neighborhood.

they are trying not to put so much violence into kids programming because we are becoming desensitized to all the violence leading them to think it is OK to hurt someone
