The chicas at work get mad if I don't compliment them and smile at them everyday. A lot of them are married and have boyfriends, so stay out of my world . It's not my responsibility. WTF.

By the way I always smile and say hello or good morning etc. .I however feel harrassed if I am singled out from other guys as not talkative enough. No guys are complaining. Again a lot of this comes from married women or women with boyfriends. I should let their spouses and BF's know huh.

Ava you fool!! Should your friend's wife be informed of you hugging him at work and feeling good. Your a confused indivual. If a guy was extremely bloated smelly and unattractive you wouldn't want a smile from him, a nice hello or even a hug. Be real and not foolish. Do not waste my time with juvenile nonsense.

Not all women are like that. Maybe they think you're a good acquaintance or friend. In that case, it is customary to smile at them, talk to them, etc.
I am from the Russian Federation, but I spend much of the year in Canada. I notice that many North Americans expect you to smile at them, be very friendly, etc. straight off...even if you are complete strangers! This was a little bit difficult for me to get used to because in many cultures, smiling at strangers or passerby is considered fake or superficial. If you are from a diferent culture, maybe it will just take you some time to get used to how North Americans treat strangers or acquaintances.

Because women read into everything. They probably just get angry because they think you have a problem with them. You shouldn't have to complement them, though...that's just high expectations. Smiling at your coworkers is nice, but you shouldn't feel obligated to do any of it. They'll get over it.

That's actually harassment I believe if they demand you compliment them or talk with them, especially if they are married, etc. If you're taken or something or just dont want it and they bug you, that's harassment in the work place.

We are really like that. We have changeable minds... attention-seekers... and jealous by nature. Please try to understand us guys because when we have or soon to have our period we easily get irritated on everything even to our self. ;)
