I think that sounds good. Sage green walls, black accents only, and off white leather furniture. Use a colorful throw rug on the floor with reds and use some throughout the room to tie it all together. After you paint the wall, hold up some different reds to see which ones really pop and use that as your accent.

Paint the bottom of the wall green with a border 1/3 of the way up the wall, then for the color on top, I'd go with an ivory, or off-white. The border should have all three colors in it (blk, gr, white).
Then do a zebra print area rug...or just something black and white only.

My idea is white or off white ceiling, I don't know how your screen appears but on mine I have a light green background which I think would be super! Even a light sage. Dark green plush carpet or wood floors with green types of orientals (these would be modern not classical or "true oriental" rugs. The black I would confine to some decorator pieces maybe japaned black end tables or a lamp perhaps as a baseboard accent color and I think a couple of deep red or fire engine red accent pieces would warm the room a lot.

Depends on what hue of green. I would use the black sparingly as possible. A little black accents can look good but alot of black can make the room seem heavy. Best thing to do is take pictures of your house before it is painted. Scan your photos into your computer and use a program like photoshop to paint the walls and trim the color you want. When you find a color scheme you like go to your hardware store and match your colors to the color chip samples they have there. Also don't scrimp on your paint. A more expensive paint like Behr is a much better quality and will last longer. Good luck with your house!

I would stick to pale green, and dark green. suggestion.......do light green on top of walls, then half way down. do a darker green. I once painted a celery green in my living room. but i found curtians that color first sheers.,,, its best to figuare out window triming such as curtains before painting. green can be very relaxing if done right. as nature is green in say a forest. but if you go too dark, too much you will feel closed in. i would take a look at nature, and see the many different greens in it. thats how i decorate....and choose matereal to recover furniture. if white is your color palet, baised on furniture, you are pretty free to choose. i don't suggest black.if you do the walls in a nice green
besure to add rugs of color to ancent and tie the room together, with other colors, such as pastels.

Be very careful using dark colors. They make the room seem smaller. As such, many people dont like them and they can make your house hard to sell in the future.
Try using pastels, they are much more acceptable and should not make the room look smaller than it actually is.
I am not sure about the black though.
Consider this, green pastel with a darker green trim on door and window frames.

Boy...you haven't any longer any theory how plenty i've got concept approximately that question. We offered 22 acres approximately 7 years in the past and built a tiny "mom in regulations" living house with plans to construct a much bigger living house at a later time. We own 2 contracting businesses, organic Stone Fabrication and the different w/ a contractor's license does installations. We additionally own an incredible Italian eating place. want I say what the housing disaster has achieved to our contracting businesses...ditto with the eating place as a results of fact no person is spending precise now. i could only build a one point 3 mattress room, 3 tub living house with a great outdoors for the infants. precise now the infants share our mattress room and that is terrible. Our wood fence blew down for the duration of the Santa Ana's and we don't have the money to re-build it. i'm no longer able to get a destroy from those teenagers to maintain my soul. I even had Mike decrease my hair as a results of fact that is too loads of a hassle to get somebody up hear to babysit for an hour to get my hair decrease. you're able to SEE MY HAIR! OH MY LORD! *roflmao* i don't be conscious of if that is maniacal laughter or the laughter of lost motives!

I think you should have dark light green walls. A white trim, windowsills, and black leather couch. I'm not sure about a white leather furniture.

Perhaps you could do a sage green on the walls and maybe some black accessories like black shelves, pillows and trim. I would also throw in some other accent colors like one orange or red pillow or something like that.
