Statistics show that 1 and 6 people have genital herpes. But more than 90% of the people out there dating claim to be free of sexually transmitted diseases. I am in the 17% who has it and am asymptomatic but would like to date again.

I don't know what can be done. I guess people who have it are ashamed to admit it and so they either don't date or they with hold the information and possibly pass it on to their partner.

I think Herpes effected singles should date only others with herpes to avoid any spread further.
