Oops! I'm afraid you'll have to pour it down the toilet! (Don't forget to drink it first, though, otherwise it'd be a waste!).
Bailey's or something like that might go off, but anything over about 20% alcohol is not going to deteriorate so much that it would be poisonous. Some things in the drink might oxidise and make it taste bitter or off, though. Straight spirits - whisky, gin, rum, vodka, brandy and so on would not really go off.

Tequila won't go off, spirits above 25% won't spoil as they don't have as many additives such as cream or flavours.
Someone mentioned that honey is the only food or drink without a shelf life - it's the only NATURAL food that doesn't spoil.

The alcohol content in hard alcohol, such as your tequila, keep it from going bad. Most beer and wine will go bad after time, although some wine will age well if properly stored.
Drink up!

spirits do not go off as the high alcohol content prevents the growth of bacteria, and no, it is not law to have a sell by date either.
you shouldn't guess the answers to questions if you dont know

No they don't because the alcohol content keeps them from spoiling. However, if they're carbonated they might be a little flat. The only alcoholic beverage I know that can spoil is beer. Because the alcohol content is low.

I don't think spirits 'go off', but i may be wrong. Anything consumed by humans i.e food and drink has to have a use-by and sell-by date by law.

there all wrong. spirits WILL go bad, loose there potency and flavor, but don't worry, it takes 15-20 years after it's opened, and won't hurt you when it does.
