Should I ask out this guy even with his constant mixed siganls? with all he does for me does he care about me?

I love this guy and I think he even knows it. He sends me mixed signals sometimes. One day he'll want to hang out and make out the next he completly hates me(he pretends too untill he sees I'm hurt by what he's said and goes all out to apoligise to me) On the other hand I'm best friends with his younger sister and she tells me that he thinks that I'm cute , and somedays he does'nt want me around when his siblings around. When Its just the two of us he cant get enough of me . I have'nt hads sex with him or anything . He undersatands that I won't go that far. He throws partys and always invites me over. He compliments me on what I'm weraring. He's asked me out three times and I said no. My father had cancar and died and I did'nt want to lay that burden on him. Its been almost a year and I still really want this guy as more than a friend. Even though he's african american and I'm mixed with african,Indian(India) and white. Should I ask him out with all his mixed signals or stay friends?

I'm sorry, but could it be that he gets a kick from yanking your chain like that? I mean, he goes back and forth. Or it could just be that he's really insecure. If you're dying to find you could take charge of the situation and ask him out, but be prepared to get hurt and probably lose the friendship if he keeps acting like this.

Sounds to me like YOU are the one giving the mixed signals. He asks you out and you refuse.
Come on, get real. You are a game player and I would advise him to look for someone else.
