no it just helps keep you in shape and help you lose weight if your over weight.it wont stunt your growth.its good to lift weights just don't over kill it with to much don't need to stress out your body.but your fine it wont cause stunt your growth

No, most people have said that it does, and that it seals your bone plates. However, I have been lifting for many years and I am very tall and still growing. If you lift with incorrect technique that might affect it, but no it does not.
