If u have light hair then i recommend u use Sun in! Its just like lemon juice! Or John frieda used 2 have this gel with lemon pieces in it that u put on and you sitin the sun! Sun in wrks best bc u can either sit out or use a blowdryer! Umm i dont recommend taht u use this if ur hair is like a medium or darker shade! You can always buy a hightlightin kit or best go to the salon and get the shade of blond u really want! And lemon juice never tried it but ppl say it wrks! who knows im a product junkie!

I tried lemon juice, but I hated the way it made my hair feel. Sticky and dirty (probably because it WAS!). So I tried hydrogen peroxide (it comes in the brown bottle from the drug store... it's really cheap!). I'd put it in a spray bottle and go sit in the sun. Every once in a while I'd spritz my hair down with it. It DID lighten my hair, but you have to be really careful not to get the stuff onto your scalp (or skin) because it will burn it. I know... I did that!
I think that if you were to dilute the peroxide with some water, it would be safer. I think that it's pretty much the same as what Sun In is made of.

Yes, it works. But only try it if you are somewhere close to being blonde. It looks tragic on brunettes adn redheads.

Just comb some in before you go to the beach or pool. Comb more in after getting your hair wet. The sun on it will do the rest.

Lemon juice can help to lighten your hair if you go out in the sun after, but I wouldn't use it - you might not like the color.
