What is Heaven? Out in space, there is no up or down. People from a middle eastern culture were attempting to describe a place that is better than this one.

There is no final proof that there is a better place, or that there is another life after this one.

First, trust in yourself. We can only be the best people we can be and hope. We must be good to ourselves and do no harm to other persons.

As you work out the conflicts of this life, you will learn more and more about eternal truths.

Do not be so hard on yourself. Look to the future for a life of adventure and discovery.

I can tell you for a fact religion will take you no where. Only the Blood of Jesus can get you to Heaven. Romans 10:9-13, King James Version

Believe in Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and "Savior". Pray to God ask him to forgive you of your sin and ask Jesus to come into your heart and cleanse you of your sin. Then you are born again and your main objective while you are still alive is to tell others about Jesus. No man gets to heaven by works alone and faith without works is nothing. In other words a person can't just be good and do good and go to heaven. We are all sinners so this would be impossible! Just do the best you can.

Only trusting in Christ as your personal savior will take you to heaven.

Do these things:

Realize your sins and ask to be forgiven.
Realize Christ died for you and put all your hope, faith, and trust in him.
Ask him to save you from your sins
Repent (don't sin again, at least try hard not to)
Look up the 10 commandments. These are the major sins. (ie commit adultry, steal, lie, murder (even hating another counts), have false Idols (people used to keep statues of men or cows), being covetous, etc. They really all fall back to selfish choices. If you aren't selfish and treat others as you would yourself, you'll be on your way.

Whatever religion you have: it cannot guarantee you a place in Heaven....but what can guarantee you a good chance of getting to heaven is your actions and deeds: so love everyone around you, treat others like you'd like to be treated and help anyone in need (these are the basic rules of thumb for ANY religion)

And if you feel you have lost your faith in the religion you have: please realise that the God/Goddess you believe in is testing your patience and belief in Him/Her

So hang in there, don't lose trust and believe in yourself and God...the testing time will soon be over and you will feel better that you didnt lose hope

If I understand correctly religions show us how to go towards God, the creator and heaven is the reward for good deeds. So if you do good deeds, whatever may be your religion, you will go to heaven. All religions lead only to one destination as there is only one God though the methods and practises followed by different religions may be different based on the time and region where the religion developed..So do not have any doubt, follow the religion in which you are born and sincerely pray to God to show you the way.God certainly knows in which religion you are born as he is all knowing

If you are unsure of your salvation, then you are lost. Christianity makes no bones about salvation. In Mark 16:16, Jesus says:"He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; he that believeth not shall be damned." In Christianity you always know your salvation status. It is the only system of belief where this occurs. Religion is legalism. Legalism is a system of does and donts, a system of keeping days and adhering to diets. Christianity is not legalism, but a one-on-one relationship with Jesus Christ. If you have your own religion, something that you made up yourself, then you are trying to get to heaven based upon your own merits. You cannot earn salvation or buy salvation or create your own system by which you climb to heaven's gates. Salvation belongs to the Lord and he freely gives it to those that asked for it. Our righteousness is as filthy rages, says the Bible. Only the righteousness of God, who is Jesus Christ is good enough to get us into heaven. Embrace Jesus today, right now, as your Lord and Savior, and be assured of your place in his heavenly plan. Jesus Loves you.

Understand that you worth is not established by your religion.

Your worth is established by God.

I did not understand this untill a few years ago when I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.

While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.

Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.

I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.

I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.

I hope this is of some help to you. If I can assist you further you may contact me directly. Good luck. Love and blessings.

Your brother don

"No one comes to the father but by me" The only way to heaven is through the Christ of the Cross who hung crucified for every sin the people of the world have ever committed and will ever commit. You must trust Christ paid your debt of sin in order to go to heaven. If you believe that and love Jesus, he will present you before His father as sinless. Contact a Christian pastor to baptize you if possible; Christ asked us all to be baptized and the water mixed with God's word will mark you as God's own child and bless you with God's Peace. God bless you. ~Nisa

There is something that you need to know is that religion dosen't take you to heaven, but you yourself does. Whatever religion you are, heaven already has a place for you if you are good. Not in a religious way but morally good.
