It's not illegal to drive on the street with the doors off, but it some places it IS illegal to drive with less than 2 rearview mirrors...one on the windshield, one on the driver's side.

You can pick up some fairly inexpensive mirror relocation brackets that attach to the windshield frame on eBay or at www.quadratec.com. www.4wd.com will also have some.

This depends from state to state. But generally, IF a vehicle is manufactured with removable doors, ie the Jeep CJs, TJs, and Yjs, Toyota Landcruiser, Nissan Patrol, Yes. Vehicles like the Blazers, Broncos, Ramchargers, with fixed doors, typically no.

No, I do it all the time. I had to get brackets for the mirrors and attatch them to the body of the jeep though. It IS illegal to drive on the roads with the windshield flipped down. You can only do that off road.

If it was illegal, then they wouldn't make Jeeps with removable doors.

It's not unless you don't relocate the mirrors or at least the drivers side one. Most states require at least a driver-side mirror to be street legal.

Most places you need functional headlights, tail lights, and a working seat belt.

Of course it all depends on where you live.
