It's a pretty self explanatory question really. Michelle Wie continues to try to qualify for men's tournaments. What keeps a man from trying to qualify and play in the LPGA? I think it would be a blast to see that.

I think that with Annika & Michelle playing in PGA events, we should look into just making it one big tour. No Champions Tour, No LPGA, No Hooters, No Futures.

Every tournament is like the US Open.

Here is my proposal:
1. No exempt players
2. The first 800 golfers (Amateur, Pro, Female, Male, Martian, whatever) to sign up with a $4,000 payment and entry form play in 5 local qualifiers on Tuesday.
3. The top 40 from each site start in the tournament on Thursday.
4. Cut after Friday to low 80 & ties.

Advantages:
1. No discrimination on the basis of age, gender, etc.
2. Entry fees will almost eliminate the need for tournament sponsors and pro ams.

If a PGA Player can play in the LPGA Tour, he will win 90% of the tournament.

LPGA rules clearly state that no one can compete in an LPGA event unless that person was born a woman (apparently eliminating any man who wants to win a U.S. Women's Open so badly that he'd undergo a sex change); PGA rules contain no such gender requirement.

All's fair in love and war !! If the PGA has allowed women to play in its' tournements - men should definitely be allowed to play in the LPGA. Women want to be mens' equals - why not turn it around. Let us guys play in your tourneys !!!!

there is one significant reason LPGA gamers prefer to play on the PGA. ladies prefer to bypass out and coach that they are merely as sturdy or maybe more desirable than the adult males that play on the PGA.

Some guy tried it about 4 or 5 years ago. They didn't let him on. I don't think he was a PGA pro though.

It would be like a Nextel Cup driver wanting to drive in the Busch Series.

Why would a male try to qualify for a women's event. A men's event offers much more money.

The fact that most men can hit the ball farther, which is a huge advantage.

Besides, the money is better on the men's side.
