They probably have nukes. They have missiles that can reach the U.S. But they do not have nukes that can be fitted to their missiles. Lets say that they will in a couple of years, which they probably will, what is our response.
Anti-Missile defense. While still in it's infancy, Naval Based Anti-Missile defenses have been operational for years. In addition, go to Wikipedia and look up Nuclear arsenals. If North Korea has the 3-6 they are estimated as having, that sits at about 1000 for us for every one of theirs. With our missile defense and that gap, I believe that if they jump, they will be slapped back down.

Okay, first of all, they don't have them yet, they are still in the incredibly time consuming process of refining the plutonium. Even when they finish, assuming their long range rockets are complete, they will only have between 3 and 5 weapons capable of only reaching the west coast. If they decide to launch the rockets, we will have hours to prepare our anti ballistic missile defenses and shoot down the rockets. Then, having put all their chips in, N Korea has to worry about a nuclear arsenal capable of destroying the world a few times over, but more importantly the conventional methods that will be used to topple their govt and take control of their country.

Well, first, I'm thinking that if N. Korea would actually launch nuclear missiles at the US, we would probably have quite a lot of time to intercept them with our bright and shiny new fighter planes.
Then, we would possibly strike back at N. Korea, and then we'll see how well their second hand Russian MIGs can get to our nukes

N Korea does not have nuclear weapons pointed at the US. They do not yet have a rocket capable of reaching the US, and certainly they do not have a nuclear warhead small enough to be transported by such a vehicle.

That is pure BS and you know it!!
We have a hell of a lot pointing at them !
Korea hasn't got a missile that works, or one which is capable of carrying a nuclear warhead!
Why do you want to say things like that when it scares people, and it isn't true??
Been taking lessons from George Bush??

North Korea isnt a threat to the U.S. They're to dumb to even get the most basic of rockets off the ground without exploding. So dont worry about them. Worry about what going on here in the states.

With the U.S. early warning system it would be very unlikely that anyone's missile could make it to the U.S. without being intercepted before it even got close. Unless of course, Canada and Mexico decided to go on the rampage.

how does it make you feel to know tha N. Korea is a puppet for China...N.Korea lobs up some meaningless missiles so that China can monitor our missile intercept systems...N.korea's missile capabilities will always be limited unless the Clinton admin. gives them the know how,"as they did China", Kim Jong ill, don't forget, is one of Mde. Same as I do when I have to deal with any stupid, careless, and potentially dangerous person. You go on with life. I know that I am a good person, that has tried very hard to live the way Jesus has shown me.
I am a LCSW (mental health therapist), I deal with people on the edge all the time.

Instead of putting on a gong show in Iraq, somebody better open their eyes and take notice of N. Korea before it's too late.
