Yeah i've got something in there that i believe the lord himself wouldn't be able to identify -- think it started growing INTO the wall of the fridge. Damm thing looks like something out of a bad episode of outer limits. I woke up at 3 am one night kind of jonesin for a snack. 'went downstairs to the kitchen and there was some weird slurping noise coming from the fridge, like the sound of aliens eating human brains -- you know what I'm talkin about. So I opened the door of the fridge and the cat came screaching out. jesus! i exclaimed. Well, you don't even wanna KNOW what i saw behind the 2 percent milk. Lemme just say: it was NOT pretty. 'next day i called the CDC. They sent a team out and took a look. Two of the guys took one look at the "thing" and threw up a week's worth of meals. The lady fainted, and one younger rookie guy took off running. I got an email the next day, said somethin like "we regret to inform you there are certain limits to our scientific capabilities...but you gots some weird-a.s.s sh*t in there, pal".

I had a small bowl of tomato pasta sauce that dried up, cracked and looked like the surface of Mars. Today is the day for cleaning out the fridge.

I have a can of peaches, opened, than have turned a strange color. And a can of evaporated milk, also opened, that I have no idea how long it's been there.
Then there's some salad dressing that's two years out of date. And some smoked hickory stick sausage with mold on it.
I have been waiting for trash day to get rid of the stuff, but I keep forgetting to do it.

I had an onion or a potato (couldn't tell which)
But, when I picked up the bag it was in to look at it, it turned to brown liquid. After that I made a rule to clean the fridge out after each trip to the grocery store

Bag of potatoes with stems growing out of the potatoes. Guess it's been there a few months - nobody wants to touch it to throw it out. :D
