It depends on your personality. There are strong links between cannabis and psychosis so, for some people (me included), it sends them mad. Long-term cannabis also tends to lead to lethargy and apathy.

It seems to me that some people take to cannabis and some don't. For some, the drug can heighten their self-consciousness and invite social problems, while paranoia is very commonly associated with smoking dope.

While both drugs can lead to dependency I would think alcoholism is a much greater problem in this regard. While cannabis generally makes the user feel more peaceful and friendly towards other people, alcohol seems to boost the ego and, if used excessively, people may become aggressive and violent.

Alcohol almost certainly has a more damaging impact on the body, particularly the liver and kidneys. Of all recreational drugs, its comedown has a pretty ferocious reputation (the hangover) and this is evidence of its very negative effect on the body.

All this considered, then, I would say alcohol will probably be worse for you than cannabis. I would say see what works for you, though, and see what you like. Follow your bliss, as it were x

Alcohol. if done in moderation, I would say cannabis is better for you. Just like anything else, even a good thing can be done to the extreme. Whatever you do, don't ever mix the two. It's better not to do either one, but if you must, choose cannabis

cannabis kills memory cells and can lead to serious mental and personality disorders, plus it's worse for your lungs than regular cigarettes if you smoke it.
I think alcohol just destroys the liver and makes you put on weight(and don't forget about the big red nose).
Although everything is usually fine in moderation, cannabis definitely does a little more damage each time. It's a shame because getting stoned is a hell of a lot more interesting than getting sloshed!

interestingly they both have medicinal benifits but the ones for alcohol are only there if you drink very little of it except in beer where the anti oxidants do you good no matter how much you drink, another thing is the harm that cannabis can do to you is mostly from the fact that you smoke it and smoking anything is obviously bad for you. but i think ultimately alcohol is worse for you. i think maybe.

Personally I think marijuana is a wonderful tool in the area of aesthetic contemplation and trouble-shooting, free-association....for those times when you catch yourself grasping for ideas instead of allowing them. Although I no longer endulge, I still cherish its virtues.

Marijuana can invoke a general appreciation for things that are fine, and worthy of respect (music, art, nature. etc), it doesn't need to be smoked, and I can't remember the last time I heard of a child getting brutalized by his father whilst intoxicated by marijuana (that's a shot at alcohol if you didn't notice). Cigarettes do not contribute a damn thing to life whatsoever, and alcohol can 'make the heart merry', and can also give is heart disease. I do think that alcohol can contribute creatively to the right person, at the right dosage.....

cannabis can be as harmful as alcohol but having seen what people do under the influence of both when taken in excess
I would say that alcohol is worse as it tends to make people aggressive

Physically, and emotionally, alcohol. Legally, cannabis. Go figure.

As a long term smoker and totally unbiased, its gotta be alcohol, it muddles your brain, mouth and other important body organs, if you get my drift, lol, cannabis on the other hand, keeps them ALL working fine, just that bit more chilled.

Depends on whether you take them in moderation or not. I'd imagine alcohol is probably worse.
