I always wondered how they knew it was the Virgin Mary, and not Julia Roberts, or Granny Clampett.

It looks like a Spanish woman with a mantilla on her head...sort of more like a Goya etching of a local woman of his time than anything else...who knows what Mary looked like? so how can anyone know whose likeness this might be.
I have a slice of orange with a crucifixion scene on it, it startled me when I first cut open the orange about 10-11yrs ago, I kept the slice and it has dried out some but the image is still there though not as clear due to dehydration and shrinkage. I am not religious but even so...I contacted Fortean Times shortly after discovering it but they were too lazy to send a reporter over and asked me to take it to their offices but it seemed too much effort at the time. Maybe I should place it in eBay?

Not hardly, unless you are the type of superficial person who would bow down to a 10 yearold grilled cheese.

Considering your other question on Yahoo Answers, I think you owe me $10 for looking.
