The main focus of the crusades was to free the holy land of the invading muslims. There was nothing wrong with that. Sometimes people went too far, but so did the muslims. They are still like that. They invade, kill and destroy. Nothing has changed.

they're the two incorrect, and that they are very comparable. i think of the biggest similarity is that distant places invaders got here and claimed that the land is theirs. the 1st time it became into the ecu Crusaders and the 2d became into the ecu Zionists. the 2d similarity, in the two circumstances the distant places invaders have been resisted via the community Arab human beings. The third similarity is in the two circumstances the distant places invaders claimed religious motives for the invasion to get carry of usual help, while actually the point became into distinctive. with regards to the Crusaders it became into riches of the middle East that they have got been after. with regards to the Zionists, all Zionist founders have been atheist Jews, and their stress became into Jewish nationalism. The fourth similarity, the two conflicts have been instigated via Europeans. in the 2d conflict, the pastimes of ecu colonialists met with the pastimes of Zionist colonialists. One very final similarity that has no longer occurred yet, in the two circumstances the distant places invaders will lose on the top. The Crusaders occupied Jerusalem for 89 years. The Zionists occupied Jerusalem so some distance for 40 two years. I doubt they're going to beat the Crusaders checklist.

The muslims practices at the time have nothing to do with the crusades. The west wasn't going there to eliminate evil leaders, change hearts and minds, or take over countries. It was strictly to take back the holy land. ANd we angaged in every horrendous practice while doing so. We were no better than any other group of people.

I disagree, but at the time, who cared if a region thousands of miles away were evil. It was not Europe's business. Looking back maybe it would have been good for the world today had they done what they seeked to do.
That is the big difference between then and now, today the Middle East presents the greatest threat to the free world we have, back then they presented no treat at all.

I wasn't there so i can not truthfully say but if they involved Killing Jews because they killed Christ yes this is wrong the Jews did not take the life of Jesus, Jesus gave his life he could have come down from the cross just like he rose from the dead but this was God's plan for our salvation the final sacrifice God's own son there is no greater sacrifice then this.
all the wars in the name of religion are wrong but there is still one last holy war to be fought the battle of Armageddon

Yes all of the cruasades were wrong, even the current one.
Your question is of a judgmental nature.
Muslims are no different than any of the rest of us. Most societies tolerated slavery at that time.
We have all been put here by God to learn the true meaning of love. They are doing it their way; we are doing it ours. Jesus asks us to love our neighbors. Muslims are our neighbors. We need not think on this issue beyond this point.
Jesus did not ask us to judge the actions of our neighbors, in fact he cautioned us to avoid doing this at all cost.
Remember; judge not lest ye be judged.
He asks us only to love them.
When you deviate from this path he pointed out to us you do so at great peril to your salvation. Judgments path leads only downward. The path Jesus pointed out for us leads only upward toward our home where our father awaits our return.
Forget the judgmental nonsense you have been taught.
This is not being a Christian; it is being a bigot.
You hate bigots so why act like one.

Violence begets violence. Middle Eastern countries have never know what peace is since biblical times. Crusaders were supposed to protect pilgrims from Muslim bandits when they vising holy land in Jerusalem. Until the city fell to Muslim hands.

Its all gone horribly wrong from the get go. The "failed" Crusades are only a smidge of the carnage humanity has brought upon itself.
