English - Bee-tah
American - Bay-tah or Bayta

The British English one is more accurate compared to the US one. However, the American way just sounds cooler :p Bayta

Please remember that a BETA version of software is released for you to TEST!
BETA means test in the software world. So be ready for problems with it and be able to report it to the manufacturer so they can clean out the bugs.

(so many times I get people that I have to repair their computers because they don't understand BETA means your testing it for them, and It may NOT work!)
