The passage you mention in Colossians 2:16 is actually being written to someone who is following Sabbath, dietary laws, new moons and the like. Paul was a Pharisee till the end and was one whom believed in resurection/Messiah and upheld the law till his death.

Paul was only a Pharisee till he met Jesus and then He became a Christian and considered all he had accomplished as a Pharisee as worthless.

What is less well known is that in his later life, Paul became a Moonie started playing the banjo on street corners in Jericho to raise money to promote Moonyism. Personally, I think there has been a big cover up going on and it's time the truth was told.
