There is something after death.
It depends on your religious beliefs.

I believe there is life after death. Not as we know it today but an existence with the lord. Conversely if we do not believe in him the question is do we really go to hell. We will only no this for sure seconds after death. But I believe the absence of God's presence will be eternal hell.

Your question has been ask by every generation sense Adam first sat up and looked around. Regardless of how old you get you will never have a conclusive answer to this question.

But I believe that the theory of we are all one with nature comes close. Everything on this earth has a beginning and an end. Some are here much longer than others. The beginning, while taking many forms, is the mating of the species. The end comes with death. And as surely as night follows day this will come to pass.

I believe there is no real purpose for us, and an individual, being here. We just are because a male and female came together. In a perfect world that would always be out of love but we know it is not.

I do not believe that god has a divine plan for us all from birth to death. If you believe that you have not looked around at how grossly unfair that would be. But while we are here he can and will help if we but only ask and believe. But in the final analysis we are responsible to make our life count.

I do believe there is life after death. But what you do while here will determine what that life will be. And no re-incarnation is not it.

Yea, there is (sure) life after death! an endless life! in the real sense of "everlasting". The life of questionable creatures (mankind and djinns) is only a temporary one. To be very much concise, this life is, in fact, the preparation for the life hereafter. You can also say that the life in this world is the age of act and the life in the hereafter is the endless reward of that act.
Well, how should one get prepared for the life hereafter? this "how" leads to the purpose of life on the earth. ALLAH has created man as HIS superem creation and all other creations are put in to the service of the manbkind. Why, after all? this supereme creation has been briefed of the purpose of ALLAH through more than 124000 prophets who have preached the message of ALLAH during all ages, in all corners on the earth. The consecutive study of their messages reveals the purpose of life, the final version of which is the Holy Quran. This Great Message of ALLAH contains a complete code of life.
OK?

To seek the TRUTH - which could mean you seek it in a religous way or non-religious way. The purpose of seeking the TRUTH is to prepare us for what comes after this life, because without that we will not be able to handle it. It would be like putting a two year old behind the wheel of a car and telling them to drive. We have to learn things here to get ready for there.

Also there are some that are here (who have been there and chose to come back) to help others find the truth. Everyday you run across someone and you learn something from that interaction.

The afterlife has been studied and shown by many scientific minds as well as philosophers and religionists. The purpose of life is one of those questions asked in each generation by enqiring minds. So far, little has been resolved as a single purpose. We are all a purpose for life as we learn and grow spiritually.

We were created by God to honor and glorify Him. We use this life to spread the message. There is life after death, death is only the death of the physical body. Life for believers is spent eternally with God, live for unbelievers is spent eternally without Him.

The real sense of life is having a sense of responsibility to accept and honor our personal savior.. Jesus Christ is the key..try to read "The Purpose Driven Life"..That is an excellent book, well aside from bible..and also try to avoid idolatry, just have faith to God the father and his son..
