I walk about 3 to 5 times a week on the treadmill. I love it but sometimes I just want to do something in addition to the walking.
Have any suggestions?

At least you can walk. I can't...bummer. Physical therapy has told me to lay on my side and do leg lifts and then lay on my stomach and do the same. Hope this helps.

Try doing a slow jog on a 'Elliptical Trainer'. With the elliptical, there is no impact on the ground, so the joints in your lower body from the hip down are free from any abuse. I have hip bursitis and wanted to burn more calories than walking on the treadmill. I can not run on cement or on a treadmill without pain, Elliptical Trainers work for me.

any kind of aqua therapy is great ...puts less strain on the muscles and very effective since you dont tire out as fast.
