What you should do is leave him alone..You said yourself he has a girlfriend. Why waste time trying to be second when you can be first with someone else? Besides, he already thinks your weird, you dont want him to add some other names to describe you to his list, do you?

Apprise him of the situation and ask him if he agrees with his girlfriend. If he does, the chap's a wimp. You'd rather not be friends with a wimp. Find someone with some character.

Find another guy for god sake. Never ever like someone with girlfriend. I believe in Karma, if you snatch someone's boyfriend, someone else can do it to you too.
I am sure you can find someone who will like you more than this guy will.

They probably won't get married, so you may eventually have a chance if he eventually comes around to appreciate your differences. I'd back off and sometime later it may happen. It's obviously not going to happen now though so keep looking and good luck.
