Sex is a gift from God for marriage. When you have sex outside of marriage it loses its 'specialness.'

Friendship is the sharing of ideas, emotions and giving comfort if needed. Sex is the sharing of your body. Once you cross that line you are no longer just friends but also lovers. Even though you feel that makes you special with that friend you loose objectivity.

Once sex enters your friendship there is no going back. And often can destroy a friendship.

for most people friendship is just for name sake but what they look for is sexual gratifications...if friendship is valued and respected i don't see why sex should and would come in the name. They take the first step as friendship but later they turn up into bed perhaps saying that you slept with your friend makes it easier to accept and the level of shyness or embarrassment is not at the peak for some people....

as for not talking on the same level after sex depends on who it is really because there are people who later regret or feel ashamed or even embarassed...

Because sex invokes feelings of love, lust or whatever. It complicates the friendship and makes it weird because at least one of you is going to be left wanting more than just a friends with benefits type of relationship.
