I'll fly to Hongkong via this airport with France Air. However, it isn't a direct flight that after I've arrived at Terminal 2F, I have to walk to Terminal 2C to catch another flight to Hongkong. According to French immigration rules: If I transit through the "internation zone" of the Airport without access to the Schengen space before flying on to the final destination, I don't need a transit visa.

So my question is that "When I move form T 2F to T 2C, will I have to get access to Schengen space?"

In addition, what is "International Zone" at a French airport??

I am in the UK on my British National Overseas (BNO) passport with which I'll travel with. My Hongkong passport gives me visa free access to Frence; however, I haven't used the HK passport b4. My last question is "can I use BNO to leave London and enter the French airport on my Hongkong passport?"

Thanks!!!

Thanks for ur answers! Does anybody know what the meaning of the International zone is? Is there similar stuff @ Heathrow/Gatwick? Does it refer to the area where only passengers holding a valid ticket can enter?
Basically, a lot of nationals doesn't need a airport transit visa at French airpots as long as they remains in the zone. I don't understand why the French authority doesn't explain it a little bit more clearly. In my mind, airport is divided into 2 areas; namely, public area and restricted area.

International zones are A, C, D and E (when it'll reopen). B and D used to be mixed (I am not sure, maybe that has changed in the last two years), F used to be Schengen, but since you're arriving from UK, apparently it's mixed too. You won't be able to exit Terminal F on foot without a proper passport or visa - there is a special shuttle that connects International terminals, so you won't leave the international zone.

Since you won't enter France, your Hong Kong passport is OK. I don't know anything about leaving using BNO, but I don't see why it could be a problem.

From my very last visit to that bloomin airport I bear in mind various different stalls equivalent to different airports all promoting bus transfers or merely discover the bus quit and ask! I save in recommendations what a unusual airport it is! In terminal a million, the escalators all bounce and merely felt unusual! each little thing is all signposted in languages - only a shame they're let down by the catering centers inspite of the actual undeniable reality that to be straightforward they were revamping i imagine! For an international flight you can stay within the customs zone.

(But, I think I would still carry the UK passport.)
