The Mountains in Montana...P E A CE is what we would have. no busy rat races, just living off of the land would be so great. It would also be an interesting learning experience.

I have already done it. I live on Gran Canaria. Summer all year round with average temperature between 20 and 30 degrees celsius. Sandy beaches, nice mountains. Duty free so everything is cheap. Capitol Las Palmas was voted the capitol city with the best climate in the world. We have one of the very few sunniest beaches in the world with the most hours of sunshine. We have one of the windiest beaches in the world where the World Windsurfing Championships are held each year. We have virtually no rain for the majority of the year and then less than two weeks of rainy days. If it rains or gets cold (Lowest temperature in thirty years was 11 Celsius) it is sunny and in the 20s celsius the next day. We have marine reserves and five microclimates. We are virtually crime free.

I cannot think of anywhere else that would compare.

To answer this question I would have to say the place that makes me the happiest. Where, it is hard to say. I would not know until I found it and settled down there. It is a large world so I could find it somewhere.
