Do you know a software to separate the sound and picture in a movie?

I have a movie and I want to use its sound seprately, do you know a software that can do this?

If u r using Windows XP and have avi video file,
then u could use the software Windows Movie Maker provided in the accessories.

yes the VCD Cutter can do it,,once you get hold of VCD Cutter then you can cut an mp3 or sound clip from a movie...get the software install it then play the movie you will see a blue small line actually two blue lines just below where your movie is playing start the movie and click the first blue line drag the movie to the desired point and then click the second blue line then there is a sign right next to these blue lines click it ,,it will open a window asking where to save?? select the destination folder and the file type which should be mp3,,it should solve the problem

Nero had a partner program some years back that had a music rendering program in it that altered the sound by layers, then you could save the file and reapply it with your changes. I used it until that computer crashed. The newer versions should be even better than that one was. I just know it will locate sound files no matter what they are attached to and give you the file name to open and alter then save. It is a complex program to use. The name fails me. Just do a yahoo on Nero, mixer and you should get good results.

Use this very good software, SUPER (c).
It can be obtained from the following website:

Select a audio codec, then drag your file into the application window.
It will attempt to convert your movie into an audio file.
