1.he might be afraid of rejection,
2.shyness,
3.his friends might laugh on him
If you like him, don't take chances just go and tell it to him

well it can go either way. if a guy likes a girl and is afraid that he has will be rejected he wont ask u. then it could go the other way were ur just not his type and hes not intrested. so u need to see how he acts. does he check u out if he does and i mean really check u out give him a sign. i will say now sign are sometimes hard to read so a direct approach is something i like. so if u feel hes likes u then go and let him know. once u do that he will come out of his shell. so good luck girl. just before u do anything look and make sure he is intrested ok. peace

As a teacher, I watch the steps the kids take all the time. Many of them are shy and withdrawn and like adults, don't like to be disappointed or shot down. For the most part, boys don't have a clue as to how to approach a girl. In my day (60's), boys would send you notes: "Do you like me? check yes or no". The little girl would respond and if the answer was what he wanted - it was on. Today - these kids have cell phones, text messages, ipods, blackberries, computers, all kinds of ways to let each other know - and they still don't know how - it's the nature of being human.....And of course, you have the girls who are open now and don't wait on the boys to ask the questions - they will ask themselves. Oh! To be a kid again!

Not neceesarily. Guy might be feeling insecure or afraid of being rejected or its just that he is too scared to approach you at first place. Try giving him clues that you are ready to talk n see if that changes his mind...:)
