Ok. For pronunciation of the first word "asks", you need to do the following:
1. Pronunce the word ask and then just add a voiced 's' behind it. Like a simple 's' which comes after the word '***'. This would give you a proper positioning of your mouth movement, and you would say the word 'asks' beautifully.
2. For pronuncing the word "asked", think of the word "made". The 'd' which is there at the end of the word has to put after ask is said. So the word "asked" would be in two beats: 1. Ask 2. d.
So asks and asked would be in proper place for you.
