I have a co-worker, that has an overly questionable attitude, no respect and a complete lack of work ethic. He claims to have been a Navy seal, but was only in for three years. I know it is none of my buisness but this guy is always making life hard for the rest of us.I would just like a little ammo to fire back. Thanks.

As a general rule, people who talk about being Navy SEALS are not Navy SEALS. Like all professions that deal with psychologically extreme situations (paramedics, firefighters, combat veterans, etc.), SEALS are unlikely to discuss their work unless it's appropriate to the conversation and never with someone they don't trust.

The third link contains links from SEALS and ex-SEALS who actively work to debunk false claims.

A simple people background check often offered on-line can assist you the same way people run background checks on babysitters. Your co-worker may have been in the military, but to apply to be a Navy Seal, you have to rise to a certain rank. Making enough rank in three years, with a bad attitude to apply for Navy Seal training, be accepted, and pass seems too far fetched.

you at the prompt are not AWOL. the base line is you do not owe the military something because you probably did not get a plane fee ticket, you probably did not get a paycheck. you at the prompt are not AWOL with a dishonorable discharge. the very reality of the count number is, your considered a DEP loss. Your nationwide look after recruiter would not comprehend what he's speaking about. you won't be able to get a DD214 because your the front date into the military is given to you once you get on your trouble-free education website.

You can go do your own searching (try SOCNET), but the navy (unlike other SpecOps forces) keeps an database of everyone that ever qualified as a SEAL. The initial enlistment is six years.
