Does that mean if an unattractive guy went up to a beautiful girl with total confidence and charm, the girl would look past the looks?
I find that hard to believe.

I have a strong feeling that may have something to do with money. But I am a cynic.

i believe u need looks to have convidence...but hey everyone has some kind of self-confidence problem...me i don't have any convidence always thinking what the other people would think or do so then i just leave it...

That's only half the part. It also depends on what the girl is like, but that is very believable. If the girl is just right, she will find it strange that a stranger just came up to talk with her, but if you're confident and full of charm, you'd probably make her laugh and show her that you're a good person, and she'd totally look past the looks. I wouldn't give it a shot, because, it's not that easy to find that many girls who are that accepting, but it's totally possible, don;t give up your hopes. Good luck!

You are missing the point. To date someone for the way they look and nothing else is SHALLOW. Confidence, a good personality, and a friendly smile can initiate a conversation with anyone.

Ugly guys pull hot girls for a reason.
Look, you've probably had both hot girls and average girls. When it came down to it, what came out of their mouths determaned if you wanted to take them home or not, right? If a hot girl turned out to be bitchy or without any self confidence would you really date her?
Trust me, what we say to women matters alot more than how hot we are.

as much as possible it should go together.. if you are good looking, i don't see why you wouldn't have self confidence.. i see a lot of guys from webdate.com though who are not really that goodlooking but they were able to pull off a good aura very well because of their self confidence...

I dont know if its true but i have heard this from lots of girls , they do have a preference for guys who are confident even though they r not goodlooking

depends what type of girl you walk up to. if its some type of hot slutty chick she'll just look at you from head to toe and say, 'whatever...' and walk away. if it was some sweet, normal girl, pretty and kind, she would automatically realize that this 'not so good looking guy' is trying his best and is confident and she would give him a chance.

well...to be honest... from what I've seen... this applyes only if the man wears Armani suit and has an American express .....sure, being full of self-confidence he will attract...the girl's ...interest!
