Just by chance I came across the most gorgeous dangle earings that have some blue (bright medium shade). I'm also thinking of buying the matching necklace. The only problem is I do not want blue in the cake or flowers. Any suggestions?

Sorry I should have explained it better. I don't want the blue in the earings and necklace to clash with the flowers. So what color would look best for the flowers and cake if I don't want blue?

Think of it this way . . . something old, something new, something borrowed, something new and a six pence in my shoe. The blue jewelry would fit nicely.
If you still need a six pence, here's an eBay link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=005&item=150008503779&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1
Good luck!

I guess I, too, am confused by your question. There is no need to match the cake or flowers to the jewelry at all! Wear pink with purple polkadots if you want!! They will make the cake however you want...if you are looking for a color scheme for the cake, they'll take it off the flowers... There's no reason to not wear the jewelry you want on your special day. Plus, you are 1/4 of the way there: "Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue!"

I'm not sure what your question is - but before you totally eliminate the idea of blue flowers, I hope you consider the beauty of morning glories, chicory, a violet flowers (they grow in blue, violet, yellow and white).
I have no idea what the jewelry looks like, but morning glories growing on a vine are a beautiful sight.
I hope your wedding day - and subsequent marriage is filled with blessings.

The only problem it would like great if you had some blue incorporated in your wedding, but you don't want that. I just think that if you don't incorporate blue some where in your wedding like the flowers or somehow on your bridesmaid dresses, that it will look funny! Just my opinion.

your jewlery doesnt have to match the cake or flowers. its doesnt have to match anything if you dont want it to. this is YOUR day, do it how you want. it should be a reflection of you and your taste. have fun with it! i say if you like the blue jewelry, wear it. good luck
