As others have mentioned, lace is the symbol. You don't have to be literal. I'm a nature nut, so when I think of lace, I think of spider web patterns, lace-textured clouds and the pattern of bits of sky visible through the tree canopy.
If you are married to this lady, then use what you know about her to come up with a gift. Lace can be made of any number of materials and fine lace is hand-made.
If you are gifting the woman of a couple - like your daughter or daughter-in-law, then you'd want to choose an item less intimate.

well the traditional gift is lace and the modern one is meant too be textiles ,but i would ditch them gift ideas and go with jewellery or a romantic break at a health spa
