I just think we shouldn't give undue attention to Christianity. People can be ignorant or they can be wise regardless of their beliefs. Take them as they come and make judgements from there as to whether or not you want to have anything to do with a particular individual.

You can love whoever you wish, and so can I. We are all free to love, and that is a natural gift.
We can also hate, although personally I regard that as a waste of time and energy.
Christianity is based on a pile of lies and misinterpretaions, used and abused by people with vested interests to gain power, money and control over people. I dislike it profusely, but I don't hate it. And the so-called "Christians"? Most are poor misguided souls who have not a clue about their own religion and are not really Christians in the sense Jesus would have understood the word. So I feel more pity and sadness about them, and they are already miserable enough by their own designs that no hatred from anyone would make a difference. And if they hate me for not being a "Christian" - and many of them do - they only expose themselves as non-Christians. Hypocrisy is alive and well, and safe in the hands of organised "Christians".

It's difficult to separate the two. Most of my family and friends are christians but I love them anyway, without making any excuses for their beliefs. Nearly all of them know what I think, but none of them has ever attempted to convert me, probably because they know that would be the end of our relationship.
However, I loved all of these people *before* I recognized that I'm an atheist. Since then, I've made some new friends but to my knowledge, none of them is a strong believer in any religion. I don't think I could be friends with anyone whose belief system teaches that I and others like me must be destroyed.

What is a Christian if you remove the Christianity?, similarly what is a gay person if you remove the gayness...both notions are extremely harsh and unrealistic but it's the Christians who are putting out this faulty logic...
To reflect that logic then yes, we should love the Christian but hate the Christianity..what's sauce for the goods is sauce for the gander.

do not bash Christianity, even in spite of the indisputable fact that you disagree with it. quite, you mustn't bash absolutely everyone in the front of absolutely everyone else, because you under no circumstances understand who you may offend. this may note to any challenge--per chance you bash a coworker on the food market. someone overhears you, and then you bypass to an interview, and the interviewer is the someone who overheard you on the food market, and is likewise better 0.5 of the coworker you bashed! You failed the interview before it even all started! also evaluate that bashing and discussing are not from now on an similar. conserving calm discussions among acquaintances is proper, yet in case you hunch to the point of bashing and degrading instead of discussing and countering, you quite are not placing your self as a lot as look like an truly good individual. purely take the sentiments of others under consideration, use reason and common sense, and do not make claims in protecting with thoughts. i'm hoping this facilitates!

hatred is usually not worth the effort (although there are some exceptions)
rather, atheists should help christians to take off the blinkers and see the light

Wouldn't loving the Christian be in the mindset of religion, itself?

What you should probably do is just believe whatever floats your boat and leave whatever anybody else believes alone. Why it makes any difference to anybody what others think and believe is beyond me.
