If your home remedies and over the counter stuff doesn't work like you want it to, then the only other alternative is to see a dermatologist and see what he says.
Some scars won't go away and you have them pretty much forever, although I think that some of them will fade away with time.

Break open vitamin E caps and keep the area moist with the
contents for several(15) weeks.
(it would have been 3 to 4 weeks but you did not start right away)

apply liquid parrafin oil on the scar in the morning before bath and keep under sun light for 30 mts. for one month.

Use a cream called "mederma".
Next time when u get hurt,use honey on the affected area.It heals without scars.
You can use honey only on the fresh wounds
