A new born baby, is it belong to any particular religion? Why these parents put him in a religion? They have any authority to do that?

yes I think it is possible for a new born baby to be born, into a religion, but a religion isn't the same thing as a relationship. You can be in a certain religion but not really have a relationship with the Father God in heaven.

They do it because they are as brainwashed (or should I say brainpolluted) as their parents were and so on, back and back. Newborn babies are pure, and not into hating anybody who is different from them. They have to be "carefully taught", (as the song from South Pacific puts it!) It starts very early in life and the children believe what their parent's say is true, because they are the grown-ups and know everything.(Until the kids become teenagers and find out that their parents are not gods. Then they reject everything while they are sorting themselves out. Some things they will later take on board, and some will stay rejected.)But almost no-one really examines their beliefs thoroughly.

I don't believe that you're born into a religion, but there are people that do. I think Jewish people do. Most parents intend to raise their children in whatever religion they are so the kids grow up in that religion and so they just ARE that religion. If you're not brought up going to church, then I think you should be able to then decide for yourself what religion you believe in.

Nice question. Actually religion in today scenario is a weapon for narrow-minded people only. Every body knows that God is one but they have even divided God in many parts in the form of religions. Yes it is right that new born baby has no religion because at such age they are not having any stupidity of this world in them. I am God fearing person But I prefer those persons who not belive in any God or any Religion. Thanks and GOd Bless You.

For those poor babies who got circumcise because of their parent's religion, I guess yes.
At the end of the day, a baby only has a religion if his parents force it upon him.

I guess it depends on the parents as a christen i believe all new Born's and otherwise challenged children will go to heaven because it is not until you can chose to not believe in the Lord that you will be denied before him.. but that is just my opinion

Well a new born has already a religion no matter what thier parents convert them too! If you believe in GOD, than his religion is from the god that created us all, if you believe in aliens, tham it is the entity that creates the alien who created the new born, if you believe in nature, than it is nature that he belongs too! So religion is just a name for the entity that creates us all!

in Islam before of 9 years old for girls and 15 years old for boys religion is not obligate but partner religion is legal religion of children and after the determined ages children must have religious and also they must research about it and believe it as a pious

No, it's wrong to impart that kind of responsibility on someone who isn't yet in the state of mind to believe or have faith in it- because then when the child does grow up and ends up not believing an especially religious family might not accept them back it unfortunately does happen
