Oh.. and kiss and hug your mother. Even if she makes a face, it'll make her happy and butter her up.

By earning it. If one of my kids wants money (outside of their allowance) I have them do extra chores around the house for it. We even have a pay schedule posted so they know how much they get paid for each job.

reason with them. give them a really good reason to give you the money that they will WANT to give it to you. ( i need to learn to be independant and be able to handle the cash i have carefully and learn how to manage my assests, so think of it as a learning experiance, also i can get some cool stuff, and when i get them i'll be less cranky and stay out of your way. --- is one of my moms favourites:-) good luck!!
