Massage therapists, sports creams and medications are available to relieve sore, tight muscles. Before spending money, try these simple remedies at home.
Steps:
1. Apply an ice pack for 20 minutes to any area that hurts. Repeat this every hour until the pain subsides.
2. Stretch the sore area gently to rid your body of lactic acid, which contributes to the pain.
3. Walk 15 to 30 minutes at least once a day to increase circulation throughout your body. This will also help deliver much-needed oxygen to the sore muscles.
4. Drink a minimum of eight glasses (64 oz.) of water daily - more if you're active - to hydrate your body.
5. Avoid strenuous activity as long as you're in pain.
Tips:
Be sure to warm up before exercising and stretching.
For people with chronic conditions or continual episodes of pain, heat can work better than ice (if you are not treating an acute injury). Try a heating pad, or a warm shower or bath.
Taking an over-the-counter nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medication, such as ibuprofen, may also reduce muscle soreness.

hi give it at least a day but as you have just started there is no need to waith til the soreness has gone. as the other anwser has said - creatine is a useful supplement but i would wait a bit until your more into your routine. You will make good gains without any supplements at the mo as you have just started. When that tails off then try the creatine. also, when you get a bit more serious never train whilst your muscles are sore.

As a sporty sort, I would suggest a combined attack of:
- a nice hot bath
- a massage
- feet up with a nice drink
- ibuprofen if there is any inflammation
- gentle stretches the next day
- generally increase the amount of stretching you do on a daily basis (to keep your muscles more supple)
- learn not to rest too much out of season!
- drink more liquids in training
- run as quick as you can in training away from the forwards so you aren't so bruised e.g. adjust your laces more often!!

Rest for a day and then train for a day. And so on. The muscles hurt because of micr tears to them. If you rest for a day ot 2 these heal up and the muscle gets stronger. After continually doing this you will build up tolerance and it won't hurt as much.

And ensure that you get a good sleep. This metabolises the muscle tissues, which need to get rested.

BCAA "s (Branched Chain Amino Acids), Antioxidants, (Vitamin A -C -E and Selenium) and Glutamine, have all been shown to increase exercise capacity, and aid in recovery.
I take all three and recover enough to work out 6 times a week.
And don't forget REST, get enough sleep.

whilte guys been making The MAtrix Keanu Reeves put himself in to tub full of ICE so this cooled his muscles and he was able to train another day, ive noticed that for me drinking milk works well too (whol one - cold), and yogurt (but not light one) .
