HarMonia says, "Devil has free will just like we do, but God controls it just like all of us." So if "God" really does control us, then how do all of you NOW answer Chris D's Question about Job?

no and yes god and the devil are like yin and yang they need one another and are part of one whole the devil is mans justification of evil deeds however the math doesnt work out since anything justified is uneven in some respect so the answer is god controls the devil simply by being what he is while the devil can find nothing else to do but go against everything god is hence if god became bad the devil would be good since he is working against god just for the sake of doing it and for the glory of course since he knows humans are not very smart and like sparkly things and fame

It says in the bible that Satan was a angel (a high angel) until fault was found in him. He wanted to be like a god and to be God. there was a war in heaven and Satan was cast out. The bible tells us in the book of Job that the angels come before God and Satan also came. Then God said, "Have you considered my servant Job? How upright and perfect a man he is?" then Satan said something like you (God) has put a hedge of protection around him. So God gave the devil to come against Job. that tells me that the devil has to still ask permission to come agains man. God knows ahead of time what the outcome is so he will allow us to go through some thnigs.

OK you can forget that right away.I'm an agnostic but from a christian point of view:God gave everyone a free will and if the devil was controlled by God he wouldn't have fallen from heaven. He would still be Gods beloved angel Luzifer.

The Devil is an Arch Angel who has a perpose, just as the three other mentioned Arch Angels in the Bible.

Satan is responsible for "testing" our free will. By doing so, our human, individual responce to either do the right thing or not, dertemines our future in eternity.

The "devil" or Lucifer, or the Morning Star was a former angel that rebelled against God and started a war between God and the faithful and the followers of Lucifer. If he didn't have free will, that would mean God imposed war upon himself.

Devil has free will just like we do, but God controls it just like all of us. God can destroy devil because love and light is always stronger but he lets devil to exist so he can show us that love is the only right way and choice.

No the devil does not have free will because he is a creation of the Christians to keep their people in line for fear of hell. But all the humans on earth do have free will.

god gave us free will according to christions (im agnostic so if i said us free will without adding according to christions (well not only christians wow a bracket inside a bracket) i would be condraticting myself) if he controls our free will then it isnt free will.

did anyone stop and think that maybe god as very little power here?? maybe he cant control what goes on in earth.

maybe he doesnt even exist.

I don't believe there is a devil, only GOD. Why would God send you to hell if he loves you unconditionally? We all have free will.
