my pup terrier is also biting alot. my hubby and i tried ways to help him stop biting but it just won't work. we bought him lotsa toys but he's more interested in our furniture than his toys.
till I talk to my cousin who is a dog trainer, he told me that the only way to stop my pup from biting is hit his mouth when you see him biting. thou it sounds cruel, pls control your strength when hitting him. and slowly let him understand that biting stuffs other than his toys is wrong.
doggies are clever and sensible creatures. they'll learn to realise their mistakes soon.
all da best ! -

The best advice I can give you on raising a dog with behavioral problems is to check out this site for Cesar Millan, and watch his show 'The Dog Whisperer' on TV. You might even want to buy his videos on dog psychology.

I found a couple of sites to go to.
www. speedy pet products.com
www.fix dog biting info.com
I would think you just need to train him to not bite. My husband has bit pups in the ear when they bite and they quit. I am not sure AI agree with that but it has worked.

He's probably doing it for attention. Once he bites go elsewhere and let him get the picture that when he bites his attention just leaves the room.

Start training him now..he's probably teething and trying his teeth, but its a bad habit.
There are Obedience and Training Schools you can take him to, or start one in your own neighbourhood with a few friends ands their pets and work tgether to help each other.

You can start by chatting with your local Vet...or ring one up and ask like that...

IT'S **ALLYOUR FAULT!!!**

YOU let him get away w/it for FIVE MONTHS!! He's NOT teething or bored or "bad". He has a spineless goof for an owner.

Start today & STOP him!! EVERY SINGLE TIME!! It took him 5 mons. to LEARN this,it WON'T be changed overnight.
