Depends on how long I had known the person before this situation. I know you didn't want a hypothetical answer, but please try to hear me out on this one. If I had known the person for a long time (ie: years) I would drop everything and go to him (her in your case). If the relationship had only just begun (ie: few weeks or months) I would probably spend much time considering what would happen and what to do. The shorter the amount of time spent knowing or getting to know the person, the more I would lean to 'no'. Good luck to you.

NO!!!
You and your love will be back together and probably fairly soon. I consider a year to three years to be soon. But even if it was FIVE............

You will be able to have your love back and permanantly.

You can't GET your leg back!
The loss of a limb is permanent. You would regret it later.

You would ESPECIALLY regret if she falls in love with someone else, either over seas or after you got married.

She would be out of your life and your life would be out of a leg.

Sir, motorbikes and cars can be bought anywhere. Real love is found almost nowhere. So, go think about that.
