Jehoshua ben David, often referred to as Jesus (Christ), was a human being who lived in first century Palestine. Not more and not less. He was a Prince (from the House of David, the Jewish Royal Family that had produced David and Solomon), a Rabbi and a political and theological reformer.
His inspirations and teachings showed us that man does not need organised religion, ritualised worship, temples and priests, and that the way to God goes directly through our heart, soul and brain and is therefore open to everyone, without the need for an intermediary.
He also fought against the Romans who occupied his country, and against the dynasty of Herod, who occupied the throne of Galilee as vassal kings under Roman patronage. As such he was much more a political leader than a theologian, and for many of his contemporaries he personified the age-old hope for a new king and saviour, a "Messiah".
He was no god or "son of god", which is a pagan concept that was bestowed on him in the early 4th century by the Roman Emperor Constantine, who hijacked the 300-year-old Christian cult and exploited it for his own political purposes. Subsequently the travesty Constantine created in place of Jesus' true ideas and teachings has become mainstream Christianity. But apart from the name, it has no longer anything to do with the person or teachings of Jesus Christ, whose own bloodline survived and is carried on in European families, including several of Europe's Royal Families.

Jesus felt like we feel in many ways except he was perfect and never sinned. The bible says he suffered all the temptations as a man. I am thankful for Him. Because he made a way where there was no way. He suffered not only being beaten, humiliated, spit upon, and being stripped but not once did he curse or give back what he got. he only said "Father forgive them for they know not what they do".

everything about him is perfect being the son of god in flesh.....
but he did set such a high benchmark for humans to follow his teachings....follow him and the sufferings you will encounter will make you strong....how much more suffering can you endure as a human???? sure there's the holy spirit....but who do you turn to when the only answer given to your cries are silence and where is justice when your oppressors run free....i've been there....now i am lost.........
