No, because sometimes it is the only way a teacher can measure a student's progress. It also provides an impetus for the child to learn. I do think there should be more focus on the child's interests and abilities and develop curriculum accordingly. They've conducted studies with students who did poorly in school...but when introduced to subject matter that was of interest to them, they did surprisingly well...and even excelled.

i say yes as a student, but no as a rational person. were there no school examinations, no grades, education will disappear also.

no because some seniors didnt want to do a portafolio they should do something , and show that they learned
