Does God love homosexuals? Of course! God loves all people. God says, "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable" (Leviticus 18:22) and "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads" (Leviticus 20:13

Paul writes, "I have written to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people - not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world. But now I am writing you that you must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat. What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside. 'Expel the wicked man from among you'" (1 Corinthians 5:9- 13). On the face, this may look extreme, unloving, and even blatantly hurtful, but let us also see.

Paul's reason: "Even if I caused you sorrow by my letter [referring to the chastening of the Corinthians in 1 Corinthians], I do not regret it. Though I did regret it - I see that my letter hurt you, but only for a little while - yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us. Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. See what this godly sorrow has produced in you: what earnestness, what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what alarm, what longing, what concern, what readiness to see justice done..." People aren't born gay for if they were they would be attracted to other male/female babies. But then again they chose to be.

Just to piss you off and make you ask this kind of a question.
And to watch David G497 waste his time writing that. Not like he wrote all of that...that "note" to "someone" is copied and pasted.
But we will let him get away with plagarism. How does your god forgive that?

I believe if the Lord can raise Lazarus from the dead, and make a blind man see, He can stop the abomination of homosexuality. But you can't save one who doesn't want to be saved, they must want to be healed of that desire. They must repent of their sins and ask the Lord to make them whole, and go and sin no more.
Homosexuality is a sin. God destroyed two cities inhabited by them. But the Bible doesn't say what happened to the others. It's hard to believe that if homosexuality is in the world, that they are strictly confined to those two cities alone. And what about the fact that God knew that the cities existed, and what went on there, and the fact that He left them alone until they messed with his chosen one? The homosexuals that resided elsewhere were spared. Why?
So that they too might be saved. The whole story tells one to leave it and to not look back, as Lot's wife had done, and was turned into a pillar of salt. He wants you to come out of there, my people, so that you too might be saved from destruction.
P.S. If I were them, I wouldn't be residing in places like San Francisco, or other cities where they are known to inhabit in droves, nor would I advise you to mess with God's people.
He, again is being quite patient with you, however, I wouldn't push it. He does have quite the temper.
By the way, I think that gay marriage thing, and gay pride parade thing would be considered pushing it.
Since some are born that way, and true we are all born in sin some way or another, it's never too late to repent. Having sex with anyone is actually a sin if you are not married. Homosexual sex or Hetero.

HOMOSEXUALITY IS NOT A SIN.
Christ never said one word (as recorded in the New Testament) against homosexuality. You are applying a too literal meaning to the bible passages you cite. The bible is a collection of old books, it was not written in English but translated from ancient texts. The meaning of the words as they appear in English are often not what was originally meant. And this is the case with all the passages used to condemn homosexuality.
Homosexuals are born homosexual, it's like being left handed or having blue eyes, there's nothing they (or anybody else) can do about it.
You and the rest of world should learn to accept these facts.

wasnt it one of the apostles that said it was a sin?? an apostle although important isnt really god and there words shouldnt be taken as gospel.
it isnt a choice so they cant just decide to be str8 anymore than you could decide to be gay. we have no control over that.
did you know eating shellfish is also considered an abomination as bad as homosexuality so you go to hell if you eat shrimp craps or lobster.
but many relgious ppl ignore that part because its something they dont fear and dont want out of there lifes so they convince themselves it isnt as bad.
dont take the bible 100% seriously there have been proven times of when it has been altered. like mary magdalene. i dont want to get into it but she was changed alot over the years.
there is so many religeons in the world so how do we know if homosexuality really is a sin?? or that were of the right faith??
i mean buddism in the fuedal era actually promoted it as a form of worship since women were considered inferior to men.
how do we know that that teaching wasnt the accurate one??
another thing is that although they are supposedly gods words they were written down by man. there is a large chance that they changed is words or added stuff to suit there own ideas and prejudices.
and wasnt the original bible written in a now dead language?? which even at the time was hard to translate there coulds have been numerous translation errors.
well what im saying is that none of us know what really is a sin until we die. let everyone live there lifes in peice and if they way they are is truly wrong then let us go to hell.
and the whole adam and eve not adam and steve aurgument doesnt really work sinc eve was never in god original plan. his original plan could have been a world full of men that could reproduce (a dumb idea i know but hey it could be true we never really know until we die)
eve was created on a whim

I think that its sort of a test from God to see if we will still love all people. I mean everyone knows good morals, and I think God just wants us to still love gay people. And in all technicality it is impossible to have a man lay with a man the way he does with a woman. Also, my uncle is gay and he is still a Catholic. It is impossible for gays to "not be gay" like some republicans think. They cant actually control it. They are born with it and that is how God made them.

quoting the Bible to justify your bigotry in all your questions, is getting quite tired. seems like the louder someone yells, the more they point their finger and pass judgment, the more THEY have to hide. try reading this before you continue to play God...only HE can pass judgment!
Dear Conservative Christian,
Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law. I
have learned a great deal from you, and I try to share that knowledge
with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind him that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination. End of debate.
I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some of the specific laws and how to best follow them.
a) When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a
pleasing odor for the Lord (Lev 1:9). The problem is my neighbors. They
claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?
b) I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?
c) I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness (Lev 15:19-24). The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.
d) Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?
e) I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?
f) A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an Abomination (Lev 11:10), it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this?
g) Lev 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my eye i require reading glasses would my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?
h) Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev 19:27. How should they die?
i) I know from Lev 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?
j) My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? (Lev 24:10-16) Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)
I know you have studied these things extensively, so I am confident you can help.
Thank you again for reminding us that God's word is eternal and unchanging.

It's not a sin to be homosexual, only our mind and body and soul can tell us who we want to mate with, if it's a girl-girl or guy-guy situation, then so be it. If it's a guy girl, or girl-guy situation then so be it. Homosexuality has been around since humans existed, and will continue. I'm a guy, and attracted to women, but many of the women I've had relationships with told me they'd like to have sex with another lady. It's ok for women in our society, but not for guys. That's just the way it is. I can't understand it, but there's lots of things about me no one can understand either, so I figure it's just life.

The same reason left-handed people will always be left-handed. If the bible said it was wrong to be left-handed do you really think all the lefties would "choose" to not be left-handed anymore? Of course not. Why? Because it's not a choice. They were born that way. There is proof that homosexuality is biological.

For the same reason straight people have sex.
Also, you are forgetting that not all homosexuals believe that homosexuality is a sin.

Edit: yes they probably are born gay..that's what studies are leaning towards. Babies haven't reached sexual maturity...they don't' have sexual attractions; that doesn't come till closer to puberty.
