What is your concept of social status? If you mean does the woman have a great personality and she is a waitress? That is the waitress's social status. Do you mean Donald Trump has a great personality as a business tycoon? That is his social status. Or do you mean the grumpy janitor? That is his personality in his own social status. So I'd go with a yes.

Hell no personality is a reflection or culmination of your life experiences, views and feeling and thoughts and some genetics thrown in. Social status if just how you are seen by others or how much you have accomplished in your life. You can be a multi-billionaire and still be an rude SOB with not sense of humor or and be dull as watching paint dry or manic depressive or you can be the happiest most positive person in the world and still live in the slums and have no money or chance of changing you social status. SO they are totally different.

What does this have to do with the military?
No, I have lots of friends with great personalities but no social status. I also have friends ??? with great social status & no personalities - makes for really boring parties.
What a delight & rare person that has both.
I have my pinky up while I type - so I can't type with my pinky.

No ... personality is a complex mix of innate & learned attributes, while social status seems more an accident of birth. The latter is not really synonymous with income level, but overlaps it considerably.

Personality has to do with traits that one posesses like being friendly, having manners, etc... Social status is more of where on a ladder that person is.

Not necessarily. Someone can be classy, well-spoken, and well-educated and come from a low class family.
