I have a PC on which 2 hard disks are available. and on one of them Win-XP pro is already installed and running smoothly. Now i want to make my PC dual boot by installing the win-98/win-98se on other hard disk.
is it possible or not. if possible then plz guide me.

yes it is possible to boot with the selected hard disk. connect the two hard disks. enter the bios set up and select the required hard disk as the first boot device. if u wana boot with other, just change the option.

In order to dual-boot with Win98 and WinXP, 98 should be installed on the primary drive. Then you install XP on the secondary drive or partition. XP detects Win98 and configures dual-boot for you automatically. This is the easiest way. It doesn't work the other way around installing 98 AFTER XP.

Another option is to use a 3rd-party program like BootMagic, which manages the two OS's for you. If you go this route, it doesn't matter which one you install first.

Be sure to select the jumpers in correct place.. before plugging it to ur CPU.

When u want to install select that hardisk's drive...

its simple...

you could't set up XP on the 2d hardcontinual and boot from it. living house windows makes use of the c: power as well. you could ought to partition the c: power and set up XP on the recent partition.
