Doesn't have issues.
Doesn't need drama to make her happy.
Knows what she wants.
Has a job.
Understands that guys are guys and do not think like women.

Responsible, ambitious, friendly, attentive, affectionate, attractive, & preferably a nymphomaniac. I should also mention attractive doesn't just pertain to body size & shape for many men. We look at dress (not brand, but being clean cut), cleanliness, & other things that won't make you an embarassment to take out or to introduce to our parents. And for bonus, things that make a bad girlfriend are laziness, nagging, overbearing attitudes, touch-me-nots, & weirdos. I know, you wonder what I mean by weirdos. Well, every guy's definition of weirdos will vary, but mine include women who act like hippies (talking signs, auras, & crystals), girls with way too much metal in their faces (safety pins through their eyebrows, earrings through their noses & lips, more metal than cartilage in their earlobes, black nail polish & lipstick, etc.), girls who say they belong to wiccan covens, & basically anyone else I would be embarasse to introduce to my mom & dad.

A good girlfriend is one who is first a beautiful human being. Someone fun to be with. Intelligent, caring, and most importantly honest. Above all her love has to be unconditional. She needs to have a good dresing sense and social behaviour and should be presentable. Needs to be confident and LOVABLE.

a lot of guys out there just want you to do them exacly the same way they do you. examples: holding them from behind , comforting them in a time of need , and most popular of them all a little pda once in a while to show your not scared of how you feel. its kind of like how you all have your own little tests to see if were good enough for you, well for some men its the same with them and most wont admit it but they want a girl to treat them in the same way that men treat women. like princes.
