Last night I finally commited to my girlfriend. When I went to sleep, I had this dream where I was laying on a cot in the middle of this campsite. I felt this breath on my back and instantly knew that it was a bear! So, I get up and run to my left. A building materializes out of nowhere! I run in and shut the door. It turns out to be an elementary school! A bell rings and the kids want to go outside as the bear starts to get up.(It was laying on a cot, right behind the one I was on) So, as I'm telling the teachers and children about the bear, it starts down the hill towrds us. It tries to come in but we hold the door shut. Then out the corner of my eye(left side) I see this little girl walking along the wall toward the bear! The bear can't see her yet. When the bear turns the corner they meet. The little girl screams and dodges the bears swipe. We open the door and she runs in! Someone calls the authorities and I'm flashed to the front of the building! What's this about?

In native american culture, you know, the bear is what they call strong medicine. Rightfully so there are few animals that can rival a grizzly bear. Actually in North America it is the biggest and baddest of them all. Anyway...........I'll try.

(this could symbolize FEAR or even respect for STRENGTH)

to a school (maybe you rely upon your education to protect you from the world)
The power in a school flows from the office.
There are possibly many interpretations. Look at all the options.
The fact that you remembered all those details is very good.
Look at each of the elements in your dream. The cot,the bear,
the school, the girl and so on. What does each of them mean to you.?Look hard down to what your guts tell you. Dreams are intensly personal because they are so real.
Education offers security.
Heck maybe you need to become a principal. What was the race of the girl you saved from the bear? Same as your girlfriend?
The girl may symbolize your girlfriend. You commiting to her may be how you "save" her. Can't tell for sure. Really cool dream.
I know it seemed scary but again overall throughout the dream you had direction and purpose and took on a leadership role.

I'm no psychology major, but I'll give this a shot.
I think maybe subconsciously you might be worried about protecting your girlfriend. Maybe you're worried that, in the future, you might not fall through for her. The bear is a symbol of danger, or hard times, and the girl is a symbol for your girlfriend. Not an uncommon dream to have after you just commited to her.
That was my guess, but I always find that the best interpreter of dreams is the one who dreampt the dream in the first place. If you have an idea of what it might mean, you're probably right.

At the beginning off the season, you would have bet me $500 and probably more that the Miami Heat would not win the Championship and you would have been wrong then to. I can tell you don't know much about basketball or the players in it. Shaq is the man. You are jealous that he is so good, and has so many rings. He is one of the most successful players in NBA history and will go down as one of the best. If you don't know what you are talking about, you should not comment on the subject. The heat will kill the bulls when they play. Shaq is ungardable.

almost spooky, i used to dream about ggrizzlys too, then i went on a trip thru cherokee north carolina, and was talking to a t4ribe chief, about my dreams about the grizzly's, he told me that the great bear is one of my spirit guides, and when you dream of a bear chasing you, what is actually happening is, the bear id protecting you, and chasing away evil spirits that surround you.
i would imagine the same would be true about your dreams, with the exception of the bear swiping at the little girl.
it could be that there is evil around her and he is "swatting" it away as she is so close.

No. Dreaming is just your mind wandering freely usually it's something you can't do when your awake.
