What makes your religion the correct answer? Looking back at history, all ages of man believed in different gods. What makes you think you are not in the middle of a "religoius scenario" that has existed a thousand years ago. If it is Christianity why are we not Jewish, as Christ was?

Does anyone here who quotes "The BIBLE" know some of the "old testament" scriptures? One such comes to mind Mark.7:9-13

Jesus criticizes the Jews for not killing their disobedient children according to Old Testament law. Mark.7:9-13 "Whoever curses father or mother shall die" (Mark 7:10 NAB)

While we experience the latest REWRITING OF GODS WORD by man...

If its GOD's word, why is any man capable of rewriting it?

I think it is not hard to find the right religion. Just look at the base point of it. The creator, the God. If the beliefs about the God are correct, then you can go furthur. I have surveyed the main religions. The jews have some ideas about God, like the God has body, or Jacob has hit the God in a competition. I know that the God will not be defeated by any creature. If so it's not the real God. And the God has no limitation, so he should not have body. Cause body is limited in location.
The christians say that Jesus is God, and son of God. Here is again the limitation problem. I know that God is not limited. And I know it deep in my heart. So I cannot accept such a limited creature to be God. Although he was a messenger from God and his prophet to lead people into the light and prosperity. But he was not God.
I reached Islam. In Islam it is said that, there is nothing like God in any aspect. The God has all the power and all the creatures are under his control. No one can see him, cause he is not limitted. No one can reach his state cause he is over the creatures boundaries and he has no boundaries.
So I have selected Islam and I have logical reasons for that. And know I love it

To know whether or not Christianity is true, you first have to know that there is a truth. If you know that there is a truth then you must know that truth cannot contradict itself. Since other religions contradict Christianity, only one may be true. Christianity has more historical evidence to back it up than any other religion. It is supported by logic, while others fail.
Example: Islam and Judaism (except messianic) say Jesus was a great prophet. Jesus said he was the Son of God. If Jesus spoke the truth then Judaism and Islam are proven false because they teach that Christ was not the Son of God. But if Jesus lied, then he would be a terrible blasphemer and not a great prophet. So still Islam and Judaism are proven to be in error.

As a Unitarian Universalist, I am comfortable believing that people worship the same God in many different ways. I doubt that the Christians of one hundred years ago would recognize the practices of those of today. There are also humanitarians and villains in all religions.
Rather than ask how people see God, may I suggest that we ask how God sees peoples. What languages do you think God cannot speak? Which prayers can God not understand?
I think the differences in religions are the results of things like geographic, economic divisions. Many world religions have wrongly been used to control others.
I had a great bumper sticker which said, "God is too big for any one religion." And being very big, God is very understanding of our shortcomings.

Jews believed that Christ was not the "chosen one". They believed that he was just another prophet. They are still waiting for the coming fo the annointed one. Christians are descended from Jews. The old testament is still the same for Christians and Jews alhough I am sure there are some differences. But it all ends there.

Sort of like how Roman Catholics became Church of England (Episcopalian in US and Anglican in Canada) after Henry the 8th)

And I do believe that Mohammid was a prophit who followed the old testament as well although i have not taken religious studies.

So we all started off on the same path. Well some of us did.

I personally do not judge people because their views are different from mine. That is God's call. I do hate people who judge me because my view is different from theirs.

Christ was a solution to the division between jews and gentiles(every body else). And since Christ is the way to eternal life hence the name Christianity.
I don't know why there are so maby religions, mabe because it is human nature to try to offer several ways to achieve the same goal and to make any idea into our own. God is not the flaw in the religious debate, human nature is. It's just easier to blame it on God becaus then we don't have to take responsibilty for anything

Hinduism, my religion, is the ONLY religion that says that ALL religions lead to God - and that ALL forms of Worship, as long as they are sincere, are acceptable to our Maker.
It has never attempted to convert anyone from other Faiths - because, according to ancient Hindu tenets, religion is a very personal matter, that is to be left to each person's individual choice. Nor has it ever conducted smear campaigns, or spiteful wars, against the followers of other Faiths.
...With a recorded history that dates back to over 4,500 years, Hinduism is still very much in vogue today - with over a billion persons following it.

I agree with you but im not religious in any way christians think that their religion is right while al the other religions suffer their abuse from other religions christians just think that they are right and sometimes makes things up just to be right so their opinion says "we are the correct religion" I dont agree christianity was a new religion paganism was the original christian enemy religion cristianity won so christianity made paganism look evil and now the word pagan means evil so christianity is not the correct religion.

No religion is true. Mysticism, mythology. If you read the Bible, remember it was written by humans, much of the New Testament has been rehashed countless times throughout history.

Get this:
Rom2:28 For he is not a Jew who is one on the outside, nor is circumcision that which is on the outside upon the flesh. 29 But he is a Jew who is one on the inside, and [his] circumcision is that of the heart by spirit, and not by a written code. The praise of that one comes, not from men, but from God.

The reason that one religion is true can be tested by checking out if they are actually in harmony (teachings/conduct) with the words that are coming from their mouths. And with the book they use as their foundation.

Christ didn't preach Judaism, he preached grace and peace. He preached faith, and he preached himself. He place the center of the religious universe upon himself.

The reason why I believe it is the only true religion is because I trust God to do what He said He would do. I made a choice to walk on His side of the fence. He says that there is no middle ground that is acceptable to Him.
