Every picture, statue, or actor I have ever seen of Jesus has been white. Wouldn't he have looked more like a modern day Middle Eastern?

I'monly asking because I read another question about the color of ancient Egyptians. It got me thinking that is all. I could care less if he was blue, I just wanted to know. I'm not trying to offend anyone's religion.

No Jesus Chris is more closer to a black skin tone. As you stated in my argument That Egypt was a black civilization. Joseph and Mary went to Egypt with there baby Jesus, to flee death row. Joseph and his family fitted into the society of Egypt, No Egyptians could tell the difference between Jews and Egyptians. does this argument ring a bell!!!
North Africa and middle east were over ran by Arabs and Europeans since the 6th centurary ad. Jews were raped in mass numbers by the romans and the arabs, thats why you see the jews as they are in the modern day. And the jews later on got chase out of the middle east to europe by the arabs, and a further mixing with europeans occured, thats why jews now have blond hair blue eyes and are caucasian. Jesus told his disipols to drink wine(his blood) to eat the bread his (flesh) well it was recent that bread was made pure white, back then bread had alot of fibre and it was very brown. Do i prove my case?
jesus and jews were black until the 6th or 5th centuray ad.

Not much I can say that hasn't already been said. Jesus was an Israelite, and I don't mean the Israel that is mentioned today. Not that it particularily matters. The point is, Jesus was the Son of God. What nationality he descends from matters only so far as that he descended from the line of King David. Some will argue that this makes him black, others that he's middle eastern, and still others will say white. Does it matter? Not really. What matters is that he died on the cross, and rose again to save us from our sins.
Amen.

Jesus would have looked like every other Jewish man from the Middle East.
People paint pictures of their own personal idea of what Jesus might have looked like.
Most likely He was a semi-short, wiry but muscular man with short curly hair and maybe had dark skin depending on how much time He spent outdoors..

Skin color like bronze, hair like lambswool, is how He is described in the bible. Jesus was Black. Mary was from Bethlahem, and it is in Africa, near the equator. There wasn't much race mixing back then, if at all. Jesus was born Black, because his mother was Black. His father is God. Pictures are artist renderings. It's what they see in their mind's eye. Most artists for whatever reason, aren't looking at the history, location, nor proximity to the equator. I've seen just as many drawings and statues of Jesus painted as a Black man from Africa, which is what he was: The word of God made flesh. As depicted in John:1-1-5.
Not that it matters. For all that really matters is that we acknowledge that there was a man named Jesus who died on the cross for our sins, so that the world might be saved.

He lived in Roman occupied Israel and was of Hebrew ancestery (along the line of King David) so yes he would have been a bit darker than the typical European portrayed Jesus and he would have surely been tan with all the time spent outdoors traveling in his ministry. But his color is of little consequence and importance if you're a believer (:

You're absolutely right about Jesus Christ. He isn't a Caucasian. More than likely, he is brown skinned, with black hair. Holly wood and Irish priests like to display Christ in their own image, however the reality is, Christ is a Semite and would look like most other middle easterners.

He would be looking like the original Jews. A rounder face, larger squarer nose. Black curly hair and tan features. If you were to see images of the people of say the Israel he wouldn't have looked much different.
