Ah, a good question.

It is my firm belief that the most trying test of spirituality that God gives us is not the test of poverty, but of prosperity.

Here are some quick tips:
If you are in charge of a group of people (IE, a CEO, or other Executive), and are holding a meeting, request that you start with prayer. Tell people that they DO NOT HAVE TO pray, but if they wish too, you would welcome them to join you.

Go to church. Not necessary, but it is good for your spirituality to hear the Word at least once a week... it's even better if you read it every day.

When asked, witness. It's bad ettiquite, and bad for the Church, if you force your beliefs on people. But if some one asks, say "I believe in God the Heavenly father, who gave His one and only Son who was crucified on the cross for the redemption of our sins. He descended into hell, on the third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father, and from thence He shall come to judge both the living and the dead..." And so on through the apostles creed. If you're not comfortable with that, simply saying "I believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again for the forgiveness of my sins."

And remember: Good works are a result of faith, and a good way to display it, but *NOT* a means to heaven.
(Gal 2:21 NIV) I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"

Follow the teachings of Jesus and the Apostles in the New Testament.

"Holy" means "set apart for God".

Set yourself apart for God. Avoid evil.

Gal 5:16 I say then, walk by the Spirit and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.
Gal 5:17 For the flesh desires what is against the Spirit, and the Spirit desires what is against the flesh; these are opposed to each other, so that you don't do what you want.
Gal 5:18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

UNHOLY Lives:
Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, moral impurity, promiscuity,
Gal 5:20 idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambitions, dissensions, factions,
Gal 5:21 envy, drunkenness, carousing, and anything similar, about which I tell you in advance--as I told you before--that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

HOLY lives:
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Gal 5:24 Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
Gal 5:25 If we live by the Spirit, we must also follow the Spirit.

Practice Holiness!

Live by the standards of the Bible.
Here's a few:
1 Cor6:9 What! Do you not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, 10 nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom. 11 And yet that is what some of you were. But you have been washed clean, but you have been sanctified, but you have been declared righteous in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God.

If we abstain (as these verses show is within our capacity),from these things, wre are on the way>

people are fooling themselves. you cannot live that way in this society.
to be holy in a truely biblical way you have to drop out of society completely.
go off somewhere away from civilization.
the bible is an ancient near eastern document. and the people who wrote it weren't americans and probably wouldn't have liked americans one bit.

the point of those actions as well as other similar actions was respect for God and restraint from worldly temptation
It is different for everybody, but a good rule of thumb is that if you are in doubt about whether something is holy or not , don't do it until you have a clearer answer

Obey the commandments, sell everything you have and give it to the poor, and castrate yourself. These are what Jesus said to do.
