how awesome is abortion?

very. in my opinion abortion rules. people opose it like its forced on people. well its not. the reason people even get abortion is usually because they cant afford to care for a child or were raped or would get kicked out of their homes for getting pregnant. theres good reasons why its there.

and also...overpopulation is the source of all the worlds problems. pollution, global warming, oil rarities and the such. we dont need more kids.

you guys flip like im saying this cause i dont wnat a baby or "when you have a baby youre gonna suck" or whatever. no. im not gonna have children cause i hate them. if a girl ever becomes pregnant due to...me... ill leave her. that simple.

god really dosent care. he already knows wether or not she gets one and therefore he lets us be. god has never intervenied in a human event. ever.

That's a really bold statement. Its not so good if both of you are not on the same page. But if your not able to support the child or unable to grow up enough to provide the child with at least a stable relationship of the mother or father then i can see it. But to take the responsibility's and the commitment shows your humane and responsible for your own actions. If you cant handle the consequences do not have sex.

I have mixed emotions on this subject.By no mean is it awesome. I believe after fertilization of the egg happens, it is a living human being. But I believe that if a young girl has been raped, or her body cannot carry a child and birthing the baby would harm her or the baby, abortion is nessacary. But in the case of you don't have enough money, or you are kicked out, or if you don't want the baby, it is murder. There are people in this world who can not have children and murdering a child for no reason is so unfair to them. They really want a child. If a girl does not want a child, she should not have sex or she should practice safe sex. But with the epidemic of AIDS and other STDs that can be passed even with the use of condoms, I believe she should not have sex at all.

Now to touch on the God thing.. I was very offended by that statement. God cares. He would rather the girl put the baby up for adoption then have her kill an innocent child. Murder is a sin. And GOD DOES CARE!

If u can give life then maybe abortion is cool. But sorry pal ur no God and can never be. Abortion is no choice its just the worst consequence of a messed up situation. Most of the time you are responsible of doing the crime against an innocent unaware dependent life growing you. I wonder you are the result of some kind of mess. Thank ur mother wat ever the reason maybe she saved ur life and did not simply let u go hoping another baby would come along anyway. Wats the big deal aborting Jonathan would have been cool, he would not grow up to pass a comment like this one.

I've never thought of abortion of awesome. I've thought of it as murder. If it was so awesome, someone could've aborted you and you wouldn't be here to ask this question today would you? Now, that would be awesome.

There's plenty of free birth control out there. There's no reason for someone to accidently get pregnant these days. Rape is another story, but I'm sure that 99% of people having abortions is because they don't bother to take birth control.
If you think you're smart enough to have sex, why aren't you smart enough to use birth control?

I wish there were some way to abort the mothers, instead of aborting the babies. The babies are innocent. Their stupid mothers aren't.

If a woman cannot afford to keep her baby or was raped and wishes to get rid of her baby, she can always give it up for adoption. Many sterile couples adopt babies and raise them as their very own. There's no exceptions, murdering a baby for lack of money or any other reasons is plain stupid.

The only reason I'd go pro-abortion would be if the embryo has a medical malfunction that cannot be cured after the baby is born. Why sentence a baby to a life of pain?

Kill an unborn child, you are horrible! A baby in the womb deserves a chance at life no matter what the circumstances are! If as you say that a woman is raped and conceives a child, no that is still wrong it was not the childs fault and the woman has the option to place that child in foster care, after all there is alot of couples that would gladly take the child as their own. Murder is murder whether your 1 hour or 100 years old!

First off, I do believe its one's own choice.
If your not wanting children then you need to wrap it up and/or have your partner get on some sort of birth control. Your not only trying not to get pregnant but there are waaaay to many STDs out there.
I think a woman should have to take some sort of class before having the abortion. To many women regret their decision and have to live with it for the rest of their life. Once you get pregnant within weeks the heart is already beating. Im now 14 weeks pregnant and it really has changed my views on the whole subject.

i agree and dont agree...i wouldnt call it "awsome" but it does help lives...and for all those abortion is murder, people..go work at a shelter for battered teens or a homeless shelter for kids and see what you have to say to the kids that were born into homes that didnt want them...talk to a little 9yr old boy whos only mistake in life was being born to a couple didnt care if he lived or died so they sold him to there friends for sex just so they can get a "another hit" and dont say they should be put up for adoption cause these same shelters have kids that have gone from foster home to foster home each with there own horror stories of getting abused emotionally, sexually and physically.

for heavens sakes!! im 13 and i already understand that aborting is murdering a child! murdering a child because u dont want it is just wrong- yes maby we have alot of kids and poverty and orphans but u could at least give it a chance to live- put it in an orphanage- maby if all those richies got out of there 5 houses and mansions, we could end poverty and give kids a home

ok.....your a GUY and your making a comment as to why girls get abortions? IF YOU DONT WANT A BABY DONT HAVE SEX.that will answer the overpopulation problem. if you dont Want the baby or cant take care of him/her, give him up for Adoption. now go grow up
